LAUSD upgrade the fire alarm system in 31 schools in Region 8 from a manual system to a fully automatic system that calls a local fire alarm monitoring center. The school now meets NFPA72 with complete coverage in all classroom, offices, restrooms, kitchen, auditorium, dinning area and etc with smoke detectors and heat detectors. Visual/audible devices were install through out the school. Manual pull station were removed from the whole school and new ones only located in office for testing and in the public area of the auditorium.
